Awareness campaigns

At Families United for Change, we believe that awareness is one of the most powerful tools in preventing substance use disorder, reducing stigma, and encouraging people to seek help.

Throughout the year, we organize and participate in community events, educational initiatives, remembrance projects, billboard campaigns, seasonal displays, and outreach efforts designed to spark meaningful conversations about addiction, recovery, mental health, and the impact SUD has on individuals and families.

Our campaigns honor those we have lost, celebrate those in recovery, and remind our community that recovery is possible. We strive to educate the public with compassion, replace judgment with understanding, and provide pathways to local resources and support.

These efforts are made possible through the generosity of our supporters, community partnerships, volunteers, and funding designated for outreach and education. Every campaign reflects our commitment to creating a community where individuals and families affected by SUD feel seen, supported, and never alone.

Together, we are changing conversations, reducing stigma, and inspiring hope—one community at a time.
